God is truth - and if there's a truth of all truth, it is this: God is good. Everything that He does always come out from good for He is light and there is no darkness, not even shadow, in Him. God is good because He is love, perfect love. So much so He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for us so we who believe on Him will be saved into eternal live.
The situations in our life do not determine that God is good, the perfect sacrifice God and Jesus gave for us does.
